Coach Jenny

I have been a part of competitive swimming for 15 years as a swimmer or coach.  My swimming career started at age 9 for the Barracuda Aquatics Club, now known as Blackline Aquatics, in Minnesota.  As a member of the Barracuda’s I swam at many Zone Championships, Sectional and in the summer of 2003 I competed at the Senior National Championship meet.  I continued swimming in college and competed for the Iowa State University Cyclones from 2001-2005.  I captained my senior year and was a student coach my 5th year.

After my swimming career I wanted to keep swimming in my life so I started to coach with Ames Cyclone Aquatics Club.  I then moved to St. Joseph, MO and started to work with the PEST team and I am going to be going on to my second season with the team..  This past season I started to work with the cross training program and I hope to keep expanding to improve our athletes strength and conditioning.

I graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance and have used the knowledge that I have gained from my degree to help develop the swimmers into the best athletes they can become.
